Founded by Icelandic perfumer Ágúst Kristinn Eðvarðsson, EGÓ is an independent niche fragrance house built around one idea: fragrance is more than something you wear. It can change how you feel, how you carry yourself, and how others remember you.

An Independent Approach to Perfumery

Unlike fragrances developed around a predetermined commercial formula, each EGÓ perfume begins with a concept, an emotion or a particular identity.

Every fragrance is personally developed by Ágúst through experimentation with raw materials, individual accords and countless adjustments. Some compositions take shape quickly, while others require months of refinement before they feel complete.

The process is guided by the character of the fragrance rather than a fixed number of trials.

Crafted in Iceland

EGÓ fragrances are produced by hand in small batches in Iceland, using carefully selected ingredients sourced from around the world.

The fragrance concentrates are blended with Icelandic alcohol, and each batch is carefully prepared to maintain consistency.

Even the bottle caps are made individually from hand-poured concrete, giving each bottle its own character.

For EGÓ, the design is not simply packaging. It is an extension of the fragrance itself.

The first EGÓ collection introduces two distinct interpretations of the brand's philosophy.

AURA explores the idea of presence. Bright yuzu, cardamom and iris come together with atmospheric notes inspired by cold Icelandic air, creating a fragrance designed to leave an impression beyond the wearer.
